Tidlos Home Checklist — Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Tidlos Home Checklist app for ChatGPT (the "App"). The App is made by Tidlos Remodeling LLC ("Tidlos," "we," "us"), a home remodeling, repair, and snow removal business serving Minneapolis and nearby suburbs.

The short version: the App gives you a seasonal home maintenance checklist. It does not ask for your name, address, email, phone number, or payment. It has no accounts and no database, and we do not keep what you ask it.

1. What the App does

When you ask ChatGPT a question like "What should I do to my house this fall in Minnesota?", ChatGPT can call the App. The App sends back a checklist for that season. It can also explain our optional Home on Autopilot service and give you a link to ask for a home profile visit.

2. What the App receives

To build your checklist, ChatGPT may send the App:

• The season or month you asked about.
• Optional details about the house, only if you mention them. These are general features: about how old the house is, house or condo, and whether it has gutters, a basement, a deck, a chimney, sprinklers, a sump pump, an attached garage, a long or steep driveway, and the type of heat.

We use these details only to choose which checklist items to show you. That is the only reason the App asks for them.

What the App does not ask for: your name, street address, city, email, phone number, location coordinates, photos, or payment details. If a name, address, city, email, phone number, or coordinates are sent to the checklist, the App turns the request down and asks that they be left out.

Some App features take no input at all. The Home on Autopilot description and the visit link are the same for everyone.

3. What we keep

• No accounts and no database. We do not save your questions, your house details, or your checklist.
• No tracking. The App does not use cookies, analytics, ad trackers, or tracking pixels, and it does not sell or share data for advertising.
• Error logs. If something goes wrong, our server writes a short error message to its log so we can fix it. These logs do not include what you typed or the details of your house.
• Abuse protection. To keep the App from being overloaded, the server counts requests from each network (IP) address for about one minute at a time. These counts stay in the server's memory only. They are not written to disk, and they are cleared when the server restarts.
• Our hosting provider. The App runs on a cloud hosting service. Like most web hosts, it may keep its own short-term technical records of web traffic, such as IP addresses and the time of a request, under its own policies. We do not use these records to identify you.

4. Your checklist checkmarks

The checklist lets you tick off items you've done. Those checkmarks are saved by ChatGPT inside your conversation, not on our server. We never receive them.

5. ChatGPT and OpenAI

You use the App inside ChatGPT, which is run by OpenAI. Your conversation, and anything you type into ChatGPT, is handled by OpenAI under OpenAI's own terms and privacy policy (https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy). We can't see your whole conversation. We only receive what ChatGPT sends to the App, as described in section 2.

6. Asking for a visit

If you choose to ask for a home profile visit, the App gives you a link. That link opens our online request form, which is run by Jobber, the scheduling and customer service software we use. The form may ask for your name, phone number, email, and the address of the home so we can contact you and plan the visit. Anything you enter there is covered by our website privacy policy (https://www.tidlosremodel.com/privacy-policy) and Jobber's privacy policy, not by the App. Nothing is sent to that form unless you open it and submit it yourself.

The App may also show a link to our website, https://www.tidlosremodel.com, and our phone number. If you visit or call, our website privacy policy applies.

7. Children

The App is meant for adults who take care of a home. It is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

8. Your rights, including in Minnesota

Because the App does not store personal information, there is usually nothing for us to look up, correct, or delete. You still have the right to ask. If you live in Minnesota, you may have rights under the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act, such as the right to know what personal data we have about you, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising (we do neither). To make a request or ask a question, email us at the address below. We will answer within the time the law requires.

To remove the App from ChatGPT, disconnect it in ChatGPT's settings. That stops ChatGPT from sending anything to the App.

9. Security

The App only accepts secure (HTTPS) connections. It does not keep personal information, which means there is very little to protect. No system is perfectly secure, but we try to collect as little as we can.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how the App handles information, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top. If a change is big, such as starting to collect something new, we will explain it here before it takes effect.

11. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.
